Firmenprofil |

 |
In the area of business Hydrogen Technology we research innovative
technologies for the production of hydrogen as well as for the conversion
of hydrogen into electricity. In co-operation with our partners in the
fields of industry and research, we develop entire hydrogen systems as well
as single components in the interest of an economical and environmentally
friendly energy economy.
The constantly rising performance requirements for electronic systems
demand innovative concepts for their power supplies. Mobile phones,
laptops, organisers or stand-alone industrial sensors all call for a
reliable, miniaturised electric power system. For the low-power range, we
develop high-performance energy converters based on promising fuels as an
alternative or complement to disposable or rechargeable batteries. In
co-operation with our partners and clients, we advise on and implement
appropriate power systems, from the idea to the finished product.
Hydrogen is needed as the fuel to operate fuel cell systems. We offer
solutions for the market sector of fuel cell systems and hydrogen
generation by
- electrolysis of water. The ecological cycle can be closed by using
sources of regenerative energy such as wind, water and sun to generate
the electricity.
- catalytic reforming of hydrogen-rich fuels. Both fossil fuels, such as
natural gas, petrol or heating oil and biogenic / regenerative fuels,
such as wood, alcohol or rapeseed oil, can be used in this process.
